Welcome to Denver, ATA!

The Colorado Translators Association is very excited to welcome our colleagues to Denver for the 2010 annual conference of the American Translators Association! We’ll be posting lots of insider tips to help you make the most of your stay in the Mile High City. On the “Topics” menu at the right, click on the category of tips you’re interested in. For example if you are looking for restaurants in Denver, click “Restaurants” and you will see all of the posts related to restaurants. See you a mile high in October!

  1. I don’t know if anyone is interested, but just down the street from the conference hotel is a place called the Mercury Cafe (2199 California St.). Every Friday they have a milonga (Argentine Tango social dance) from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. I’ll be going to it, and I’d be happy to have some company if anyone else dances or is just curious! They have classes earlier in the evening, too.
