I don’t know if anyone is interested, but just down the street from the conference hotel is a place called the Mercury Cafe (2199 California St.). Every Friday they have a milonga (Argentine Tango social dance) from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. I’ll be going to it, and I’d be happy to have some company if anyone else dances or is just curious! They have classes earlier in the evening, too.
